Just a quick show of hands: Who is against an entire meal dedicated to bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, and being able to get it until after you’ve slept off the night before’s adventures?
That’s what I thought. No one.
I have fully adopted the basic girl love of and obsession with brunch. I’ve scoured every city I’ve found myself in for eggs benny, chicken and waffles, and steak and eggs. Brunch is my favorite way to say a final good-bye to a place I’m in. I’ve spent many a lazy, leisurely Saturday or Sunday mid-morning/early afternoon languishing over brunch cocktails, interesting and deep conversation with whomever I’m with, and reliving adventures over brunch.
And guess what? Another thing I love about food and it being the universal language and currency: EVERY PLACE HAS BRUNCH, OR A VERSION OF IT. People are people no matter where you are in the world, people – and after a night of drinking and partying, or capping off an adventure-filled vacation, I need that kind of consistency in my life
